Status Effects are inflicted when certain Mimics hit a player. All hit status ailments reduce the damage of NG Skill attacks by 50%; the other effects are included in the descriptions below.

PoisonedEdit

• Cause: By being hit by the quills of a Quilltoad, a Hazegrub, a Harpoon's projectiles, or the Haze spray of an Enraged Wallworm.
• Effect: This effect takes 4 Health every 4 seconds; one full round of poison removes 56 total Health.
• Duration: 60 seconds.
• Cure: Acid Phosphate, Elixir of Vitriol, Wormwood Tonic.
• Appearance: Character blinks red.

SprainedEdit

• Cause: By being hit by a Swampfoot, Bruinscale, or Trenchfoot. Note that only the attack of the mimic will sprain. Direct contact with the mimic's body will not cause the status effect but will still damage the player.
• Effect: Halves Attack stat.
• Duration: 60 seconds.
• Cure: Deer Musk, Bear Filtrate, Snake Oil.
• Appearance: Character blinks yellow.

BurnedEdit

• Cause: By being hit by a Hellhopper, Coaltosser, Firegrub or Cinder Steed.
• Effect: Halves Defense stat.
• Duration: 60 seconds.
• Cure: Vimvigor's Salve, Cold Cream, Curative Ointment.
• Appearance: Character blinks orange.

JinxedEdit

• Cause: By being hit by a Cactigrub or Turbine.
• Effect: Reduces Luck stat to 10% (rounded down), prevents gain of Experience, Circuit Points or Weapon Mastery Points.
• Duration: 60 seconds.
• Cure: Clover Extract, Wishbone Marrow, Pieces of Seven.
• Appearance: Character blinks green.

ShockedEdit

• Cause: By being hit by an Electrawog, or the sparks of a Shocksprite or Enraged Clampbright.
• Effect: Disables Spectra Circuit and Weapon Bonuses.
• Duration: 60 seconds.
• Cure: Talcum Astringent, Deionized Dust, Neutralize Starch.
• Appearance: Electricity surrounds character, and character blinks white.

DrainedEdit

• Cause: By being attached to by a Hagworm, shot from a Haghost.
• Effect: Reduces Stamina and Skill stats to 1, making the character unable to use its Nidarian Guard's exclusive attacks.
• Duration: 60 seconds.
• Cure: Mentholated Vapor, Aromatic Spirits, Smelling Salt.
• Appearance: Character blinks blue.
