The Spinnaker (or as some players call it, the Hairdryer, Haze Cannon or the Haze Spewer) spews haze in one direction, leaving its backside vulnerable. Each time it takes damage it it will spin around, swapping the position of its attacking side and weak side. The easiest way to kill one is generally to attack it from below, or to alternate attacks from both sides with a co-op partner.
Tactics[]
Note: it is impossible to walk through it.
Aeronaut[]
Attacking it from underneath when possible reduces the chance of taking damage to almost none. Otherwise, you will need to alternate attacks on the side that is not attacking you as it rotates. You will either need to switch sides or alternate attacks with a co-op partner.
Ferric[]
Jump and then quickly up-attack to avoid damage and hit it. You can also alternate attacking with a co-op partner.
Crag[]
Simply stand below it and use your whip upwards to damage the Spinnaker without risk. As with the other classes, you can alternate attacking with your partner. In some situations you can use a diagonal upwards attack to hit it without it damaging you.
Advanced
If there is room above one, you can grapple up and down and use the downward attack while close to the stem to hit the Spinnaker from either side.
