The Rooks are a group of Aeronaut NPCs who make up the Nidarian standing army. They are the front line forces and the first respondents to Mimic threats. They are well-trained men, but sometimes get bogged down by military regulations and orders, which is why they turn to players for help.
Appearance[]

Most Rooks wear a brown hat, a striped shirt, a short scarf, a dark gray jacket, a stiff-collared brown capelet, brown pants, dark brown boots, goggles and a gas mask. The colors of their shirts and their scarves vary among the different ranks.
Third Class Rook clothing[]
Third Class Rooks wear bowler hats and their scarves are green. Their shirts have alternating green and brown stripes. They have a golden gear pinned on their hats. Their capelets are plain.
Second Class Rook clothing[]
Second Class Rooks wear top hats and their scarves are white. Their shirts have alternating green and white stripes. They have a golden gear pinned on their hats. Their capelets are plain.
Rook Commander clothing[]
Commanders wear top hats and their scarves are white. Their shirts have alternating green and white stripes. They have a golden feather pinned on their hats, and their capelets are decorated with golden studs and several medals.

Skystone 101: Rooks: Rooks are the prestigious army of Nidaria. They are the first wave of troops to enter new lands, and set up strategic checkpoints for recruits on the ground. They will quickly drag you to safety if the Mimics get the best of you.

On your travels in Skystone, you’ll usually be in the company of Rooks trying to establish safe zones on the ground, as they build their network of Ether defenses and chip away at the local Mimic threat.

The Rook forces (and RoS players) now use the Coil installations as drop points and bases of operation in their attacks on the Mimics.
The Fire Brigade[]
The Fire Brigade is a special team of Rooks that was dispatched to Hatchwood Wilds to fight a forest fire. They traded in their Blaster Cuffs for Water Jet Rigs, which is perfect for fighting fires, but renders them useless against enemies. During Charred Forest Rescue (MD0208), several Fire Fighters are trapped in the Charred Forest and require rescue.
Fire Brigade clothing[]
Members of the Fire Brigade do not wear capelets, and their hats resemble firemen's hats.

Fire Brigade: Intro: The Fire Brigade is the newest branch of the Nidarian army. These Rooks are prepared to do battle with fire, but not necessarily Mimics.
ER Rooks/Skylarks[]
Skylarks are the medics for the Nidarian Army.
Skylark clothing[]
Skylarks wear white bowler hats, white capelets that have a green caduceus on the shoulder, and green scarves. Their shirts have white and green stripes.

Skylark: ER Rooks: ER Rooks are highly trained medics for the Nidarian Army. Their team is called on when there are large amounts of injured Rooks, civilians, or refugees. If needed, they can perform high level surgeries within the Skylark.
