Stonehogs are flying Mimics which hover above you diagonally, trying to set up a shot in the direction opposite of the hand which is holding the rock. If it is unable to set up a shot, after a time it will throw the rock anyway despite having no chance to hit. In any event, it will then repeat the pattern with its other hand.

Tips & Attacks[]
When Stonehogs are aiming at you from the left, walk left against a high wall. Walk right when it's aiming right. It will stop at the wall and you can simply attack straight up. It can't hit you from this position, either.
Aeronaut[]
Simply attack diagonally twice, then run across under him making the rock miss. Continue this until it dies.
Ferric[]
Jump and attack then pull back while dodging. If possible, stay above the Stonehog to avoid being hit.
Crag[]
Jumping upward and using diagonal attacks can easily defeat these enemies.

Kill one.
Go left. Kill one.
Go left, up. Kill one.
Go right. Kill three.
Go right. Kill two.
Go right, (down and) left to restart main route. You must kill 5 other mimics to respawn.
If you die, restart from the Mine Exit Checkpoint.
