Mimipedes are found only in Copperstone Mine. They vary in length and only have one exposed segment on the end of their body.

Tips & Attacks[]
There are certain areas where the Mimipede will be unreachable. However when you kill it the item falls where the tail was. Despite this, players may find that they cannot reach their spores/items. Try to avoid this situation by not attacking when the tail is inside the small passages often used by this mimic.
Aeronaut[]
Follow it, attacking the tail. You can also fly below it when it is on the ceiling and attack it.
Ferric[]
Follow it, attacking the tail. If there is enough space, make use of the Ferric's divebomb attack.
Crag[]
You can either get behind them and use a crouching attacking, or jump over their bulb tail and use a downward flail.

- These long Mimics can crawl all over. Their armor keeps them safe from attacks, except for their last exposed body segment.
First Encounter: Copperstone Mine
Quest Relevance[]
- In the Mimicology Quest "Mimipede Study" (CY0060), the player must collect 30 Mimipede Shells for Cypress.
- In the Extermination Quest "Mimipede Extermination" (AS0055), the player must kill 50 Mimipedes per day for three days for Admiral Stanton.

Mimipedes Locations in Ridgeback Highlands
Mine Exit Checkpoint: Go left. Kill 3.
Start counting mimics killed after these three are dead. When the count reaches 10, return here. Must kill at least one extra mimic to respawn circuit.
Mines Checkpoint:
Go left, down. Kill 1.
Go up, up. Kill 1.
Go left. Kill 1.
Go up. Kill 2.
Go right. Kill 2.
Go (down and) left, left. Kill 1.
Go left. Kill 1.
Go right, right, down, right, down, right to return to the Checkpoint.
