- Quest giver: The Slugrat is a peculiar Mimic, which seems to have replaced the perfectly good legs of a rat with a slug-like fringe to crawl on walls. I'm surprised that the fringe has enough suction to hold the Slugrat on ceilings and walls, since they're much larger than slugs. Needless to say, I'd like to learn more about them.
Luckily enough, the slug-like fringe is the most likely part of a Slugrat to remain behind after combusting. If you could bring me 40 of these, it would help a great deal. - After completion: It looks like these strange foot fringes are coated in slime, which it leaves on walls and ceilings to help it grip the surface better. It's extremely sticky, I had to throw away the gloves I was wearing while studying the specimens since it wouldn't come off. Those sewers in Steamport City must be a real mess from these creatures.
