Brass is a currency used in Remnants of Skystone, as a paid alternative to Spores. They do not have a set value, but they are always worth more than Spores. There are many Brass-only items, such as furniture and clothing, that cannot be purchased with Spores.

Brass coins are not dropped by any monsters. Players can obtain them by:

• Purchasing them with Kreds, at a rate of 50 Kreds for 2500 Brass.
• Completing Daily Quests, which can be completed by only one of the characters in your float.
• Opening the chest in the Secret Room, which awards 100 Brass. This can be done for multiple characters per float, but requires the completion of 29 Missions.
• Completing Calluan Harvest (CJ0003) for 50 brass, completing Hazegrub Hunt (CM0006) for 100 brass, or completing Guardians in the Canyon (AS1001) for 50 brass.

The words enscribed on the right hand side of a Brass coin reads "A posse ad esse," which is Latin for "From possibility to reality".
