Baking is an activity in Remnants of Skystone. Players can bake their own restoring items near Victory Labs by talking to Cecilia. Each item that you bake requires 1 spice (from Rook Edwards, Leatherleaf and Bandero Skarn) and various food items that you either collect while killing mimics or grow in your garden. You get 5 food restorative items for doing these mini-quests, and they restore quite a bit more health than the food items you give for the quest, so most people find it worth the time and effort to complete these mini-quests.
Baking also has a trophy for the total number of completed Bakings on a character. Unlike Brewing, there aren't trophies for baking certain food items a set amount of times.
When you are Brewing a fizz you can't do any Bakings that require something that you are using for the fizz. For example if you have started brewing a Rosedrop Fizz, you can't make Orchard Gumbo, because it requires Makopas. Cecilia will tell you that you're doing something with the ingredients that she needs and will not let you do the quest. The same applies if you have started Brewing the day before and have not yet picked up the fizz. To avoid such problems one should always first pick up yesterday's fizzes, then do today's baking and then start brewing new fizzes.
Cecilia also won't offer her recipe if you are growing one of the needed vegetables in one of the Plant Boxes. Please refer to Recipes' Pattern section to get instructions on how to avoid this situation.

Recommended Planting
Edit
The Following scheme shows the 21 non-NG Recipes (the ones with CC0001 ID) in the order Cecilia offers them. If the player is growing one of the ingredients, Cecilia won't offer her daily recipe; to resolve this issue avoid to plant the vegetbles indicated in the 4th column (this assumes that you'll ask Cecilia for her recipe after any eventual harvesting and before any eventual planting). To simplify the growing process, use the Recommended Planting.
The Recommended Planting expects planting every third day to grow 6 Potatoes, 6 Radishes, 4 Beans, 4 Carrots, 4 Tomatoes, 4 Jalapenos, 2 Ginger, and 2 Pumpkins every 21 days. Recipes requiring Onions (Potato Salad and Three-Layer Dip) are excluded. The 21-day cycle requires 40 vegetables while allowing Gardening of 35 vegetables. Removing the two double-vegetable recipes fulfills 19 recipes with 32 vegetables. Extra Planters on days without 5 recommended plantings can be used for
- Onions and either Beans or Potatoes to occasionally fulfill the missing recipes.
- Carrots or Radishes for Fizzes.
This table does not take into account NG recipes.
